Today, Fair Wisconsin PAC announced their endorsement of Jordan Roman in Assembly District 12. Roman is challenging incumbent representative Russell Goodwin. Rep. Goodwin who voted for a k-12 transgender athlete ban on March 20th, 2025 This was a vote in favor of a bill that would have directly harmed the LGBTQ+ community in Wisconsin. The primary election will be on August 11th, 2026.
Fair Wisconsin’s Executive Director released the following statement:
“This endorsement of Jordan Roman sends a crystal clear message: no matter your political party, we will not tolerate a vote against the LGBTQ+ community. In a time when we are seeing such intense animosity against our transgender family members, and especially attacks on our trans youth, we must join in support of our entire community. With his deep connections to the MIlwaukee community and his commitment to making life more affordable and our schools fully funded, Jordan Roman will be a champion for every Wisconsinite, including LGBTQ+ Wisconsinites. We must elect him to the Wisconsin State Assembly.”
