Today, Fair Wisconsin will appear before the Senate Committee on Government Operations, Labor and Economic Development to oppose AB100, AB102, and AB104, three bills targeting Wisconsin’s trans community. In addition to mobilizing community members to testify in-person and collecting written testimony to submit on behalf of Wisconsinites, Fair Wisconsin’s Executive Director Abigail Swetz will testify in opposition to all three bills. As Swetz stated yesterday in a separate press release condemning these anti-trans policy attacks:
“To our incredible trans community here in Wisconsin, Fair Wisconsin has a message: we love you. You make this state and country a better place. We are fighting alongside you for your ability to thrive. And we will win.
And we have a message for the politicians behind these attacks on our community: Stop it. We’ll see you at the ballot box.”
