TOWN OF JOHNSTOWN, WI… Local farmer and longtime Johnstown resident Scott Fleming issued the following statement regarding his run for the 15th Senate District:

“As a farmer, agronomist, proud father to two high school boys and a Johnstown board supervisor, I’ve seen how rising costs have impacted family budgets, businesses like our family farm, and local governments.

“People everywhere are being forced to do more with less and politicians in Madison aren’t getting the job done.

“I’m running for State Senate to help limit rising costs and make sure that our state government is working for you and your family and not for special interests.

“By working together, we can make Wisconsin a better place to live, work, start a business, and raise a family.

“There’s value in having people in government who are directly connected to their communities and I want to be a voice for the people I work and live alongside every day.”

Scott grew up in Elkhorn before moving to Johnstown with his wife, Emily, in 2008. He serves on the Johnstown Township Board of Supervisors and helps run his family farm in Rock County.
