Campaign releases first list of public supporters including Judges, Attorneys, Law Enforcement, Elected, and Community Leaders

More than 100 elected and community leaders, including judges, attorneys, and law enforcement professionals, as well as nonprofit and business executives, are publicly supporting Judge Sandra Giernoth for re-election to the Washington County Circuit Court. “I am honored to have earned the support of individuals from both sides of the aisle and from all across Washington County,” Judge Giernoth said. “My commitment is to apply the law fairly, to uphold our Constitution, to make our communities stronger and safer, and to work collaboratively to improve our justice system. Public support from such a diverse group of people shows they value my independence and trust me to do this important work in a fair and impartial way.”
Judge Giernoth’s initial list of public supporters includes 18 judges, dozens of attorneys, and current and retired law enforcement professionals, as well as business, community, and elected leaders.
Judge Andrew Gonring, who retired from the Washington County bench after almost 20 years of service, noted: “Good judges have three important qualities – intelligence, independence, and integrity. Judge Giernoth has all three. She has a first-rate intellect and applies the law fairly to all before her. She is honest, trustworthy, and true to her word. She has my enthusiastic support.”
Retired West Bend Mutual CEO and prominent business and community leader Kevin Steiner is also among Judge Giernoth’s public supporters. “Judge Giernoth is a true community leader and role model,” Steiner said. “She doesn’t just serve from the bench—she actively rolls up her sleeves to make positive change happen across Washington County. Her vision and hard work are laying a strong foundation for our county’s future. I enthusiastically support her re-election and encourage other Washington County voters to join me.”
Judge Giernoth will be on the nonpartisan ballot in April 2027.
