Grand View, WI – Chanz Green issued the following statement after announcing he will run for re-election in the 74 th Assembly District:
“After careful thought and consideration, I have decided to remain in the Assembly and run for a third term representing the 74 th Assembly District. I feel I am the best candidate to represent the 74 th Assembly District and I am looking forward to continuing to serve the people of Northern Wisconsin in the State Assembly. I look forward to getting back out across the district to earn the support of voters and continue working to preserve our majority in Madison.”
During his two terms in the State Assembly, Green has supported nearly $6 billion in tax cuts, backed historic funding increases for local governments, and worked to bring jobs to Northern Wisconsin while revitalizing the forestry industry. He has also supported measures to strengthen election integrity, advocated for hunters’ rights and commonsense reforms at the DNR, and authored legislation to strengthen Second Amendment rights.
Chanz Green is a common-sense conservative committed to working hard for the people of the 74th Assembly District and Northern Wisconsin.
The 74th Assembly District includes all of Iron, Sawyer, and Washburn counties and portions of Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, and Douglas counties.
The primary election will be held on August 11th, and the general election will be held on November 3rd.
