(Fond du Lac, WI) – Today, Congressman Glenn Grothman released his second campaign ad of the 2026 cycle, “Employment: My Choice”.
The ad focuses on Klara and her mother Kathy. Klara works in a Community Rehabilitation Prover (CRP) whose mission is to not only help individuals with disabilities succeed in the workplace, but provide services and guidance for them. Klara gets to enjoy the dignity that comes with earning a paycheck and spends quality time with her friends, too. Glenn Grothman is Washington’s biggest advocate for employment choice for individuals with disabilities and has passed legislation through the House Committee on Education and Workforce that will remove barriers adults with disabilities face in finding employment.
When you visit workplaces like Green Valley in Dodge County, RCS in Sheboygan County, Ascend in Manitowoc County, Remarkable in Winnebago County, or Northwoods in Columbia County, you can’t help but feel good about the people who work there and their safe, stable environment,” said Grothman. “I have visited every CRP in the Sixth District and have met the individuals with disabilities who work there. The feedback I hear most is that they love their jobs, enjoy being with their friends, and are proud to bring home a paycheck. Some in Washington would like to see these places shut down. I will continue to fight for our community members and expand workplace choice for individuals with disabilities who mean so much to our community.”
