Sheriff Billeb and Hermening have worked together over the years on initiatives focused on mental health, public safety, and improving outcomes for individuals within the criminal justice system.

“Kevin has consistently demonstrated steady leadership, a strong understanding of public safety challenges, and a genuine commitment to the people we serve,” Sheriff Billeb said. “When I work with Kevin, I see the leadership that was built during his time in the Marine Corps, as a successful business owner, and as a community leader.”

Billeb said Hermening’s experience and approach to service make him prepared to represent Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District.

“I believe Kevin’s experience and approach to service will benefit the 7th Congressional District and the communities within it,” Billeb added. “That’s why I’m asking for your support of Kevin in the August primary and November general election.”

“Sheriff Billeb has dedicated his career to protecting our communities and serving the people of Marathon County with professionalism and integrity,” Hermening said. “I’m honored to have his support and grateful for the work we’ve done together to address mental health and public safety challenges facing our communities.”

Hermening is a Marine veteran, small business owner, former Marathon County Republican chairman, and former Mosinee School Board member. He announced his candidacy earlier this year, pledging to bring experienced, steady leadership and strong Wisconsin roots to Washington.
