Chippewa Falls, WI—Former State Rep. and Wisconsin Democraticgovernor candidate, carpenter and farmer Brett Hulsey warned Wisconsin citizens about the invasion of President Donald Trump, U.S. Reps. Tom Tiffany and Dereck Van Orden. Brett highlighting all the ways they have tried to destroy Wisconsin farmers, families, and future from the Iran War to tariffs. WI Ag industry powers the state with $116 billion in production.

“President Donald Trump saying he helps farmers is like Dr. Hannibal Lecter saying he helps our healthcare,” said Brett. “The Trump/Tiffany/Van Orden unneeded Iranian war caused gasoline, diesel, and fertilizer increases. The Trump/Tiffany/Van Orden illegal tariffs have hurt our Ag export like soybeans.”

The Manitowoc Times Herald reports How the Iran war is hitting Midwest and Wisconsin farmers:

·       A conflict in Iran has disrupted shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, increasing fuel and fertilizer costs for farmers.

·       Many Midwest farmers avoided immediate impact by prepaying for fertilizer and fuel before the price spikes.

·       Rising diesel prices are a major concern, affecting everything from running machinery to transporting goods.

·       Experts warn the conflict could disrupt the supply chain for months, potentially raising grocery prices and threatening global food security.

“I worked with Wisconsin corn and soybean farmers to build two advanced biofuel plants, create the WI Biodiesel Association, to build a soybean crush plant to make value added oil for food and fuel, and Alliant Energy to burn switchgrass at the Cassville power plant ,” said Brett, who is an agriculture and energy consultant with his small business, Better Environmental Solutions.

“I challenge Reps. Tiffany and Van Orden to oppose the unneeded Iranian War, illegal tariffs, and support our family farmers and residents,” said Brett. “Go Brewers!”
