SUN PRAIRIE, WISCONSIN., April 15, 2026 — Today, State Representative Andrew Hysell announced his reelection for the 48th Assembly District.
Representative Andrew Hysell said, “As a legislator, I have worked to protect our individual rights, strengthen public schools and public safety, and bring practical, results-driven leadership to Madison. As a practicing attorney and ranking member of the Assembly Judiciary Committee, I have focused on making laws that work in the real world—standing up for working families, defending our constitutional freedoms, and ensuring government remains accountable to the people. My decision to run for re-election is motivated by my desire to keep fighting for the values that matter most to our community.”
Rep. Hysell has strong support from important leaders at the state, county and city level.

Hysell saying, “Having previously served as the Assembly Member for the 48th District, I’m proud to endorse Andrew for State Assembly. Andrew has been proactive in engaging with my office and has shown a genuine commitment to ensuring his work is supportive of Dane County.”
