MADISON – The La Follette School of Public Affairs is hosting Mitch Daniels, former governor of Indiana and president emeritus of Purdue University, on Monday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. for a public presentation exploring the state of politics and policymaking, potential solutions for higher education, ways to find common ground amid divisiveness, and more.

In a moderated conversation with Susan Yackee, the director of the La Follette School of Public Affairs, Governor Daniels will share perspectives gleaned from a unique career that reached the highest levels of both state government and higher education.

Members of the press are invited and may record opening remarks by Chancellor Jennifer Mnookin and Ted Kellner (video and audio) and the first five minutes of Governor Daniels’ remarks for b-roll footage (video/no audio). Media would have the opportunity to interview Yackee and event attendees outside the auditorium after the event.
