MILWAUKEE, WI — This coming Tuesday, September 15th, is National Voter Registration Day.
All across the U.S., National Voter Registration Day brings together organizations, community leaders, & volunteers to raise awareness about the importance of voter registration & civic participation.
In Milwaukee, the League of United Latin American Citizens – WI (LULAC-WI), the Fight For Our Lives (FFOL) Coalition, the Fight For Our Lives Democracy Tour & many other partners, have organized a National Voter Registration Day Press Conference & Call to Action to commence on this day at 11:00 am at El Rey Market (Cesar E. Chavez Dr.)
Following the Press Conference the Fight For Our Lives “UnityMobile” will lead a “Democracy Caravan” to Clinton & Bernice Rose Senior Center for another pro-voting gathering.

The day’s celebration will culminate with a community meal at Progressive Baptist Church and offered by the Fight For Our Lives Coalition. (Detailed schedule below.)
At these events, community leaders will call for powerful participation in our democracy.
Together, we, the people, will make sure that our community is registered and ready to vote!
This year’s observance of National Voter Registration Day coincides with the nation’s 250th anniversary and September 15, 2026 is also the first day of Hispanic Heritage Month which ends on October 15, 2026.
