Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson joins those honoring the late Reverend Jesse Jackson by directing the flags displayed outside the City Hall complex be lowered to half-staff.  The recognition will continue until Monday, March 1, 2026.

“Jesse Jackson was a civil right icon, a political pioneer, and a champion of the oppressed throughout his adult life,” Mayor Johnson said. “He is a part of this nation’s history, and he had significant presence right here in Milwaukee. I recognize his contributions and honor his legacy.”
