Manitowoc, Wisconsin — Moms for Liberty – Manitowoc County announces its support for Wisconsin’s proposed constitutional amendment prohibiting government entities from discriminating against or granting preferential treatment based on race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin. The chapter encourages Wisconsin voters to vote yes on November 3, 2026.

Every child deserves equal treatment and an equal opportunity to succeed. Public schools should focus on academic achievement, individual growth, and preparing students for the future—not dividing students or treating them differently based on their racial or ethnic backgrounds. Every student should be judged as an individual, with opportunities based on their abilities, effort, and achievements.

The same principle should apply to government hiring and contracting. Positions and opportunities should be awarded based on qualifications, skills, experience, and merit—not race or sex. Government should seek the most qualified individuals and treat everyone fairly under the law.

“We believe every student and employee deserves a fair opportunity to succeed based on their individual abilities and qualifications,” said Chapter Chair Brayden Myer. “Our government should treat people as individuals, not favor or disadvantage them because of their demographic characteristics. This amendment is an important step toward ensuring equal treatment and opportunity for all Wisconsin residents.”

Moms for Liberty – Manitowoc County urges voters to support fairness, merit, and equal treatment under the law by voting yes on the equal treatment amendment on November 3, 2026.
