Oak Creek, WI – Grassroots community activist and life-long Oak Creek resident, Dylan Pfaffenbach, announced his candidacy for Wisconsin State Assembly following Representative Jessie Rodriguez’s retirement.

Pfaffenbach decided to enter the race after seeing a growing need for leadership from a new generation willing to step forward and serve.

“I’d like to thank Rep. Jessie Rodriguez for her more than a decade of service to the community. Her leadership in the Assembly will be sorely missed,” said Pfaffenbach. “I’m running because families across our community are being squeezed by rising every-day costs that make life more difficult. Rising utility rates, the cost of homeownership, and the never-ending property tax hikes are preventing us from reaching our full potential. Wisconsin needs fresh leadership that not only listens to residents but offers new and practical solutions.”

In addition to lowering everyday costs, Pfaffenbach will prioritize increasing healthcare price transparency, improving Wisconsin’s education system, and securing our neighborhood’s safety for our families.

“Madison needs a fierce advocate on the local issues that matter the most to the every-day Wisconsinite,” Pfaffenbach said. “I look forward to being that voice, while working every day to earn the support of the communities I hope to represent this November.”
