Former Mayor of Lancaster David Varnam was victorious Tuesday in the Republican primary for Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor. The Pro-Life Wisconsin Victory Fund PAC made a sole endorsement of Varnam in the race, and he made the pro-life issue a focus of his campaign.
“Pro-Life Wisconsin congratulates David Varnam on a hard-won victory,” said Matt Sande, Victory Fund PAC Director. “Over the last five years, David earned the trust and commitment of the pro-life electorate as he traveled across the state of Wisconsin. Pro-lifers appreciate his bold and consistent pro-life voice and his heartfelt commitment to the pro-life cause,” Sande said.
Pro-Life Wisconsin Victory Fund supports candidates for public office who demonstrate a commitment to protect each and every innocent human life – in all circumstances and at all stages of development. To be “100 percent pro-life” is to know that a human life begins at fertilization and that there may never be a legal exception to an innocent child’s inalienable right to life.“Pro-Life Wisconsin congratulates all our endorsed primary winners,” said Dan Miller, Victory Fund PAC Board Member. “In addition to David Varnam, Secretary of State candidate Jay Schroeder, Congressional District 7 candidate Michael Alfonso, State Senate candidates Nic Cravillion and Erik Severson, and State Assembly candidate Bernie Newman have all embraced the principled and compassionate total protection position. Now it’s time to redouble our efforts for the general election. We’re looking forward to November 3rd,” Miller said.
