Beloit, WI — State Representative Clinton Anderson announced today that he is seeking

re-election to the Wisconsin State Assembly, saying the fight for working families in southern Wisconsin is far from over and the stakes in the next election could not be higher.

Anderson has served two terms focused on improving quality of life in southern Wisconsin. He has fought to strengthen public safety, support small businesses and family farms, and expand housing opportunities. He hopes to continue to work on policies, including education, election integrity, health care access, local funding, and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, all while seeking to lower costs for families.

“Even in a divided government, we’ve delivered meaningful progress,” Anderson said. “But too often, good ideas are stalled because of partisan gridlock. The people of Wisconsin deserve leadership that pushes forward, not politics that holds us back.”

Now, he says, Wisconsin faces a defining moment.

“If we want to fully fund our public schools, lower costs for working families, support family farms, strengthen rural Wisconsin, expand health care access, and address the housing shortage, we need a majority focused on results,” Anderson said. “I’m running for a third term to continue delivering for our district and to help build that majority so we can move Wisconsin forward.”

Anderson is seeking re-election to represent Wisconsin’s 45th Assembly District, which includes the cities of Beloit and Evansville, the village of Orfordville, and the towns of Avon, Beloit, Magnolia, Newark, Spring Valley, Turtle, and Union.

The primary election will be held on August 11, and the general election will take place on November 3.
