Signing Marks Major Step Forward for Women’s Health in Wisconsin

Madison – Today, Rep. Joy Goeben (R-Hobart) shared her appreciation for the hard work of her colleagues in Senate Bill 264 being signed into law today. She praised the legislation as the culmination of years of determined effort, noting her support since the bill’s initial introduction in 2023.

“Today marks a significant victory for women across Wisconsin as Senate Bill 264 is officially signed into law, ensuring improved care and stronger protections for those who need it most. From day one, this legislation has been about ensuring women receive the care, dignity, and support they deserve,” said Rep. Goeben. “I’m proud to have stood alongside advocates and colleagues to see this through to the finish line.”

Rep.
