FOREST JUNCTION, WI — State Representative Ron Tusler (R-Harrison) is asking friends and neighbors across the 3rd Assembly District to remember the victims of 9/11. With your help, we will place small United States flags on Sunday, after church, at 11AM on September 6, 2026.

This September marks 25 years since 2,977 lives were taken in the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and United Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. First responders ran toward danger. Ordinary people showed extraordinary courage. We have a duty to remember them.

“We need to continue to remember 9/11. We promised that we would “Never Forget.” I believe many of us have forgotten. I want our children to understand 9/11 and how it affected our nation. I hope you feel the same.” Tusler said. “I hope it means a lot to others too. I think this is a tradition worth preserving.”

Volunteers of all ages are needed to help place the flags. No special skills are required, just a willingness to spend a little time honoring those we lost.

If you can help, please meet us at the Forest Junction Volunteer Fire Department at N8892 Randolph St., Brillion, WI 54110, this Sunday, September 6th, 2026, at 11 AM.
