MADISON, Wis. — Today, Realta Fusion announced that its new corporate headquarters and fusion energy R&D facility will be developed on Madison’s east side.
Representative Randy Udell (D-47th District) released the following statement:
“Realta Fusion is a world leader in nuclear fusion technology, and their new Madison headquarters will create an expected 600 jobs in renewable energy innovation. I am proud to have cosponsored Act 165 this session, which helped ensure Realta Fusion would remain in the Madison area.
“This new research and development facility, ‘The Realta Forge,’ will be constructed at OM Station, the former Oscar Mayer location. This development will strengthen the Madison area economy, and it will help retain Wisconsin’s status as a national leader in nuclear fusion energy.
“Realta Fusion’s presence in Stoughton has been a pleasure. While we will miss their home location in the 47th District, this new Madison headquarters will help secure Wisconsin’s sustainable energy future.”
