Washington, DC — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All endorsed Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley in his bid for Wisconsin governor. Crowley has pledged to enshrine reproductive freedom—including abortion access—in Wisconsin law, if elected.

Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:

“David Crowley knows that the work to protect reproductive freedom in Wisconsin did not end when the state’s ban was struck down. He has centered his campaign around delivering for Wisconsin families and protecting their personal healthcare decisions, and we are proud to endorse him in his bid for governor.”

Crowley has been a steadfast champion for reproductive freedom. As a Wisconsin state representative, he co-sponsored legislation declaring abortion care as healthcare, and celebrated the Wisconsin Supreme Court’s 2025 decision to strike down the state’s 1849 abortion ban.

Tom Tiffany, Crowley’s opponent, is an extremist who has pledged his loyalty to the GOP’s national anti-abortion agenda. Tiffany backed a nationwide abortion ban, has consistently voted against legislation aiming to protect and expand reproductive freedom, and signed on to an amicus brief that ultimately overturned Roe v. Wade.
