The Republican Governors Association is up with a new spot that accuses Dem gubernatorial candidate David Crowley of failing Milwaukee County and warns he will fail Wisconsin.
The ad focuses on the lapse of healthcare insurance for county employees with several news clips on the story. That includes one newscaster saying Crowley, who serves as Milwaukee County executive, sent out a statement saying mistakes were made.
The narrator says all Crowley had to say for his “colossal failure” that put healthcare for thousands at “catastrophic” risk.”
The ad plays a clip of Crowley saying, “We gotta go,” after a reporter asked him, “Do you know what went wrong here?” The narrator then closes the ad, “Crowley failed Milwaukee County, and he will fail Wisconsin. David Crowley: incompetent, unprepared, unfit to be governor.”
