Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez raised over $650,000 in direct campaign donations, with an additional $4.5 million raised in support of her primary campaign
WAUKESHA, WI—Lt. Governor Sara Rodriguez’s campaign today announced over $5 million has been raised in support of her primary campaign for governor. This total includes $650,000 raised into her campaign account, a $2 million investment from the Democratic Lt. Governors Association, and $2.5 million raised by supporting groups and organizations.
“This election is a turning point for Wisconsin. For the first time in years, we have a real opportunity to win the governor’s office and take back the Legislature – a trifecta that would finally let us lower costs, protect families, and fix what’s been broken,” said Lt. Gov. Rodriguez. “I’m so thankful for the outpouring of support from across all 72 counties, from working families, local leaders, and grassroots supporters who know this moment matters and who are helping us build a campaign to win in November.”
Rodriguez is assembling the resources, support, and statewide infrastructure needed to win the Democratic primary and defeat the Republican nominee in November. She has secured the backing and historic investments from AFSCME, the Democratic Lieutenant Governors Association and 314 Action Fund, signaling strong confidence from both Wisconsin leaders and national partners.
At the same time, Rodriguez continues to consolidate grassroots support from local leaders, labor, advocates, and voters across Wisconsin who know her record and trust her leadership. No other candidate in the race has matched Rodriguez’s statewide presence, having traveled to all 72 counties three times as lieutenant governor and continuing to show up everywhere through her Rolling with Rodriguez tour.
Rodriguez is laser-focused on the issues that matter most to Wisconsin voters, including lowering health care, child care, housing, utility, and property tax costs; protecting public safety and civil rights; and implementing real systemic changes it will take to make everyday life more affordable for people across the state.
