[Lake Nebagamon, WI…] Former 73rd State Representative Angie Sapik filed her campaign’s finance report in her bid for the 25th State Senate seat. Sapik, an official 2024 Trump elector, was elected to the state Assembly in 2022 and served one term representing the 73rd Assembly District. She was then elected to the Douglas County Board of Supervisors in 2024.   Sapik said she’s investing in her campaign in addition to raising funds because the issues facing Northwest Wisconsin are critical to the strength and prosperity of area families. “High property taxes are crippling senior citizens and young families ability to either stay in their homes or attain the American Dream.  At the same time the leading Democratic candidates for governor are pushing to eliminate law enforcement, repeal Act 10, and force socialist policies on hardworking families.  I cannot stand by while the Madison leftists attempt to turn Wisconsin into Minnesota,” said Sapik. Sapik is bolstered by a deep and wide list of endorsements from law enforcement, legislators and local officials who desire a strong, conservative voice for Northwest Wisconsin in the state Senate.
