Clinton, WI: Conservative Republican Ellen Schutt continues to build momentum in her campaign for State Senate, having earned the endorsement of Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin (AFP-WI), Wisconsin’s largest grassroots conservative organizations.
AFP-WI announced Schutt as part of its first-round of 2026 legislative endorsements, citing the need to elect principled leaders who will advance common-sense reforms, protect taxpayers, and deliver results for Wisconsin families.
“Americans for Prosperity has been one of the leading voices for limited government, lower taxes, and economic freedom in Wisconsin,” Schutt said. “I’m honored to have their support. Families across our district are working hard to make ends meet, and they deserve leaders who will fight for affordability, government accountability, and policies that create opportunity instead of more bureaucracy.”
AFP-WI joins Turning Point Action, the conservative group founded by the late Charlie Kirk, in throwing their support behind Schutt, as conservatives coalesce behind her candidacy.
During her time in the State Assembly, Schutt established a strong conservative record, and demonstrated her willingness to fight the Madison establishment, opposing a plan from Madison insiders and special interests that could’ve driven energy costs even higher for Wisconsin families.
