MADISON, WI — Senator Jamie Wall (D – Green Bay) issued the following statement following his vote against a proposal to spend Wisconsin’s projected fund balance:
“The bill blows a $3 billion hole in the next budget, potentially forcing future tax increases and cuts to essential services. We shouldn’t spend money that we don’t have. No business would handle its finances this way, and neither should the state.”
