Madison, Wisconsin (February 5, 2026) – In an update to last month’s announcement, the Wisconsin Supreme Court confirmed that the February 10 and February 11 oral arguments will be livestreamed on the Wisconsin Court System homepage, giving the public a clear and simple way to follow the proceedings.

The Court previously announced plans to provide its own livestream to ensure continued public access to the February arguments. That commitment remains in place. While the legislature and WisconsinEye entered into an agreement providing coverage of legislative proceedings, that agreement does not include coverage of Wisconsin Supreme Court oral arguments.

Chief Justice Jill Karofsky said the Court will ensure the public has reliable access to the February hearings.

“To keep public access uninterrupted, the Court will fund and host the February livestream on the Wisconsin Court System website,” Chief Justice Karofsky said. “Transparency is fundamental to the rule of law, and we are committed to ensuring people can continue to follow the work of their Supreme Court.”

The Court will continue to work cooperatively with WisconsinEye so the hearings will also be available on its platform and preserved in its archives when possible.

Audio access to Supreme Court proceedings will continue. Recordings of oral arguments have been publicly available since 1997 and will remain available on the Wisconsin Court System website.

The livestream will be prominently displayed on the Wisconsin Court System homepage prior to the February 10 arguments.
