Liberal Supreme Court candidate Chris Taylor announced she is unable to participate in tonight’s scheduled debate on the advice of doctors.
Taylor says she hopes to reschedule the one and only planned debate of the campaign with conservative Supreme Court candidate Maria Lazar.
The debate is being sponsored by WISN-TV and WisPolitics-State Affairs.
Taylor’s campaign in a statement today said she felt unwell and went to urgent care. She was then sent to the hospital for further evaluations.

“While she is unable to participate in tonight’s debate, we look forward to rescheduling and finding an opportunity for voters to hear from both candidates before Election Day,” the campaign said.
WISN-TV said it was working on a possible reschedule with both campaigns.
A Lazar spokesperson said the campaign wished Taylor a speedy recovery and looks forward “to a robust debate as soon as possible for the voters of Wisconsin.”
