WEST ALLIS, WI — State Representative Angelito Tenorio today announced his campaign for re-election to the Wisconsin State Assembly, seeking a second term representing the 14th Assembly District.
Rep. Angelito Tenorio is the proud son of Filipino immigrants who came to Wisconsin in hopes of finding a better life. Rep. Tenorio grew up in a union home in West Allis. He has served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard and on the West Allis Common Council.
Rep. Tenorio was first elected to the Assembly in 2024 and has a strong record focused on affordability and improving the lives of working families across the 14th District. His campaign will center on lowering costs, expanding access to healthcare, increasing affordable housing, protecting our environment, funding our public schools, and strengthening workers’ rights.
“Serving our community has been the honor of my life,” said Rep. Tenorio. “Together, we’ve made real progress, but there’s more work to do. I’m excited to announce that I’m running for re-election to keep fighting for a safer community, a healthier environment, stronger public schools, and a better Wisconsin for all of us.”
Rep. Tenorio earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has devoted his career to public service and advocating for the people of Wisconsin. He previously served as Engagement and Development Manager for Wisconsin Conservation Voters, an environmental advocacy nonprofit.
“My priority is making our community a place where every resident has the opportunity to thrive. Together, we can lower costs, combat climate change, fully fund our public schools, expand access to healthcare, and create more good-paying union jobs. That is why I’m honored to launch my re-election campaign to continue serving the people of the 14th District,” said Rep. Tenorio.
