GOP gubernatorial nominee Tom Tiffany released a new TV ad warning Dem rival David Crowley will “cost you more.”
The new ad opens with the narrator saying Crowley doesn’t think high taxes are a burden. The spot then plays a clip of an interview in which Crowley says he doesn’t think a higher sales tax in Milwaukee County will be a burden on residents.
The narrator adds Crowley voted against a middle-class tax cut twice, raised property taxes five times and nearly doubled the sales tax, celebrating the latter with cake.
The spot closes with a clip of the interview again before the narrator says, “David Crowley: A burden on your wallet.”
