GOP gubernatorial candidate Tom Tiffany released a new TV ad with him promising to be a “commonsense governor.”

The campaign said it was part of a seven-figure buy running statewide on TV, streaming, and digital platforms.

As of this morning, AdImpact had tracked nearly $7.5 million in buys from Tiffany’s campaign since the start of the race.

The spot features Tiffany talking directly to the camera saying it’s “time to fix problems.” He vows to ensure kids can read with seven out of 10 fourth graders currently reading below grade level, making healthcare costs more transparent, stopping “Wall Street from buying our homes” and lowering property taxes.

“Kids who can read, prices you can see, a home you can own,” Tiffany says to close the spot. “That’s a Wisconsin that works for everyone, and that’s the commonsense governor I’ll be.”
