BELOIT, WI — The U.S. Chamber of Commerce today announced its endorsement of Rep. Bryan Steil for Wisconsin’s First Congressional District at a free enterprise event at Fairbanks Morse Defense Headquarters in Beloit. Rep. Steil was also recognized by the Chamber with the Advocate for American Business Award for being a steadfast defender of free markets and policies that improve affordability for families, workers, and businesses. The event was a stop on the Chamber’s Free Enterprise Express Opportunity Tour, a national six-week bus tour promoting free enterprise.
The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.
Bradley and Congressman Steil were joined at Fairbanks Morse Defense in Beloit, Wisconsin by North Dakota Governor Kelly Armstrong, Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Kurt Bauer, President and CEO of Fairbanks Morse Defense, George Whittier, and President and CEO of the Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce Kari Swirth.

Following the award presentation and endorsement, the group toured the Beloit, Wisconsin manufacturing facility.

The effort is part of a broader Chamber initiative, the New Fight for Free Enterprise, a multi-year effort to organize, mobilize, and make the case for free enterprise everywhere public opinion is shaped, public policy is made, and future generations learn what it takes for people and communities to thrive.
