MILWAUKEE – Congresswoman Gwen Moore today endorsed Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley for Governor of Wisconsin.

“I’ve known David since he was a community organizer and have watched him grow into an effective leader in Milwaukee County and a dedicated husband and father. He is ready to be the next Governor of Wisconsin,” said Congresswoman Moore. “David has delivered results for Wisconsin time and time again, demonstrating what is possible when we build partnerships, invest in our communities, and deliver results together. Congresswoman Moore’s endorsement adds to the growing momentum behind Crowley’s campaign following endorsements from Governor Tony Evers, labor unions, and mayors and local elected officials from across the state.

David Crowley is the Milwaukee County Executive and the first African American and youngest person elected to that office. Raised in Milwaukee in a union household, David has balanced billion-dollar budgets, delivered the largest property tax cut in county history, cut opioid overdose deaths in half, and added over 1,000 units of affordable housing in six years, including in suburban communities for the first time. He has won every race for the Wisconsin state Legislature and Milwaukee County Executive.
