DE PERE — Congressman Tony Wied (WI-08) announced today that his district office is accepting submissions for the 2026 Congressional Art Competition. All high school students in the 8th Congressional District are invited to participate.
“I am very excited to once again have the opportunity to see the incredible talent of students from across our district,” said Congressman Wied. “Each year, the Congressional Art Competition gives high school students a chance to showcase their creativity, and I encourage everyone who would like to participate to do so.”
The winning student from the 8th Congressional District will have their piece hung in the United States Capitol Building for one year and will have the opportunity to attend a congressional reception in Washington, D.C. Other winners of the competition will have their artwork displayed in Congressman Wied’s De Pere and D.C. offices.
All signed documents and art must be delivered by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, to Congressman Tony Wied’s District Office, 1702 Scheuring Road, Suite B, De Pere, WI 54115.
