U.S. Sen. Baldwin: Forces vote to redirect $14 billion in excessive ICE funding towards lowering childcare costs

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) forced the Senate to vote to redirect billions in federal funding from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to instead invest in lowering the cost of childcare for American families. Senate Republicans voted down the measure.
