LA CROSSE, WI. – Yesterday, Rebecca Cooke took to social media claiming that a “core” part of her campaign is to get “dark money out of politics.”
The problem? Her own record doesn’t match the rhetoric.
Cooke has benefited from the same political networks and outside spending she now pretends to oppose and even fellow Democrats have called her out over it.
In August 2024, Democrat Mark Pocan (WI-02) spoke out against Cooke in a report by WKOW saying “Rebecca Cooke in the 3rd Congressional District primary has broken our state’s clean campaign tradition.”
