MADISON, Wis. — Yesterday, Bryan Steil told a reporter that he remains “optimistic” that Trump’s illegal war in Iran, which he voted to continue, was worth it, despite the fact that Wisconsinites spent months suffering under skyrocketing prices. Experts believe that Trump’s and Bryan Steil’s illegal actions abroad will have long-lasting impacts, and that it may take many months for prices to return to pre-war levels.
“Bryan Steil won’t fool his constituents by celebrating gas prices in his district that are still 25% higher than pre-war levels,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Rachel La Due. “Wisconsinites in the first congressional district won’t share Bryan Steil’s ‘optimism’ for relief because they know he will rubber-stamp Trump’s chaos agenda abroad again at their expense as soon as he gets the opportunity.”
