MADISON, Wis. – Fresh after being exposed for telling a leftist nonprofit that provides services for sex offenders that he shares their vision, Democrat David Crowley is facing a new scandal, raising new ethical questions.

The Daily Caller reports that Crowley funneled millions in taxpayer-funded rental assistance through a nonprofit that employed his wife. The funds, totaling over $65 million, raise concerns about whether Crowley disclosed what appears to be a blatant conflict of interest.

Ironically, Crowley announced an “anti-corruption” plan to great fanfare last month… but that platform seems to end when it comes to tens of millions in taxpayer funds going through an organization his wife works for.

“David Crowley has an alarming habit of saying one thing and doing the opposite, and this latest revelation should raise even more concerns for Wisconsinites. Crowley owes voters full transparency, because it seems his rhetoric on stopping corruption ends when it comes to his own activities,” said WisGOP Chairman Brian Schimming.
