CAMBRIDGE, WI – Wisconsin Farmers Union is set to host an evening celebrating family farming and longtime WFU member and dairy farmer Tina Hinchley on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at Hinchley Dairy Farm in Cambridge, Wisconsin.
WFU is excited to welcome author, Ryan Dennis, to discuss his book Barn Gothic: Three Generations and the Death of the Family Dairy Farm. Barn Gothic is an elegy for family farmers and an intimate portrait of three generations, weaving personal experiences with pivotal moments in history that reshaped dairy farming in our country. Copies of Barn Gothic will be available for sale and signing at the event.
Following the book talk, WFU will host a celebratory dinner honoring board member Tina Hinchley. Tina has been a member of WFU for over 25 years and has served on its Board of Directors since 2012. Join in celebrating Tina’s exemplary years of service to WFU with a catered dinner and social gathering.
Both events will be held at Hinchley Dairy Farm to recognize the family’s dedication to agricultural education and preservation of family-scale agriculture.
