MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Fuel & Retail Association (WFRA) is pleased to announce that Rachel Vander Wiele has joined the association as Director of Events and Advocacy. Rachel brings a decade of experience in Wisconsin’s Capitol and most recently served as Client Services Associate with the HBS office in Madison, a national advocacy firm.

In her new role, Rachel will help plan and execute member events and support WFRA’s advocacy efforts, including programs that connect Wisconsin’s independent fuel and retail businesses with timely information and industry resources.

“Rachel’s experience at HBS and in the Wisconsin Legislature gives her a unique perspective on events, advocacy, and client service,” said Matt Hauser, President & CEO of WFRA. “She will be a tremendous asset to our team as we continue supporting our members and advancing their interests.”

Prior to joining WFRA, Rachel supported clients with day-to-day operations, legislative days, and advocacy efforts at HBS. In the Wisconsin Legislature, she helped advance complex policy initiatives and worked closely with lawmakers, staff, state agencies, and stakeholders.
WFRA is a Madison-based association focused on helping independent fuel and retail businesses thrive through advocacy, education, and a strong professional network.
