Today, June 24, 2026, marks the four-year anniversary of the United States Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade.

Today and every day, Wisconsin Right to Life is unwavering in our commitment to supporting women through pregnancy and beyond,” stated Heather Weininger, Executive Director of Wisconsin Right to Life. “This year in particular, we were proud to support postpartum Medicaid expansion, extending eligibility to 12 months after birth.”

Wisconsin Right to Life’s support for women before and after pregnancy also extends beyond the legislature. Through Wisconsin Right to Life’s emergency grant program, pregnant women in need are given financial assistance for expenses such as rent, groceries, medical bills, and more. In addition, Wisconsin Right to Life publishes a directory of local pregnancy help at 123givelife.com so women can find assistance in their community.

Four years after Dobbs, this moment calls us to build a world where women can welcome children without fear. Wisconsin Right to Life is committed to meeting this moment in the legislature, in our communities, and one woman at a time.

Women deserve better than abortion. They deserve creative policy solutions and community support that helps them and their families thrive,” Weininger continued. “And Wisconsin Right to Life will keep showing up, not just with words, but with action.”
