MADISON — The Wisconsin School Administrators Alliance (WSAA) is accepting applications for the position of Director of Government Relations.
SAA advocates on behalf of school and district leaders to ensure Wisconsin students receive the highest-quality education possible. The Director of Government Relations will serve as a key voice for more than 4,000 educational leaders across the state, representing the alliance before education associations, the Wisconsin legislature, the Department of Public Instruction, the governor’s office, and other agencies.
“This is an important leadership position for Wisconsin education,” said WSAA President Jim Lynch. “The SAA Director of Government Relations will help elevate the voices of school and district leaders, advance sound public policy, and keep the needs of students at the center of statewide conversations about education.”

Ideal candidates will have successful leadership experience in public policy, education, or a related field, along with strong communication, organizational, technology, and relationship-building skills. Candidates should also have knowledge of the policymaking process and a demonstrated commitment to public education.
