MENOMONIE, WI, September 8, 2026…The Wisconsin Sporting Alliance has named state Rep. Clint Moses, (R-Menomonie), a recipient of its Conservation Patron Award, recognizing his support for Wisconsin’s sporting traditions, conservation efforts and responsible stewardship of the state’s natural resources.
The Conservation Patron Award recognizes state lawmakers who have demonstrated a commitment to protecting Wisconsin’s outdoor heritage and the natural resources that make hunting, fishing and other outdoor recreation possible.
“Wisconsin’s hunting and fishing traditions depend on elected officials who understand that conservation and the sporting community go hand in hand,” said Craig Peterson of the Wisconsin Sporting Alliance. “Rep. Clint Moses has demonstrated that understanding and has been a strong voice for the people who hunt, fish and enjoy Wisconsin’s outdoors.”
Moses represents Wisconsin’s 92nd Assembly District and has served in the state Assembly since 2021. A lifelong Wisconsin resident and small-business owner, Moses has emphasized the importance of protecting Wisconsin’s quality of life while representing the interests of communities in western Wisconsin.

“Conservation isn’t simply about protecting land and water,” Peterson said. “It is about preserving a Wisconsin way of life. Generations of Wisconsin families have grown up hunting, fishing and enjoying our lakes, rivers, forests and fields. Rep. Moses understands that these resources need responsible stewards in Madison.”
Representative Moses will receive the award at a later date.
The Wisconsin Sporting Alliance advocates for Wisconsin sportsmen and women and supports policies that protect hunting and fishing opportunities, clean water, clean air, wildlife habitat and responsible conservation of the state’s natural resources.
The organization created the Conservation Patron Award to recognize legislators who may not personally identify as traditional sportsmen or sportswomen, but who have demonstrated through their public service that they value Wisconsin’s outdoor heritage and the conservation principles that sustain it.
“Rep. Moses has earned our appreciation and the appreciation of Wisconsin sportsmen and women,” Peterson said. “We are pleased to recognize him as a Conservation Patron.”
