MADISON, WI – On the heels of an unprecedented Democratic primary, Wisconsin Senate Democrats are expanding our battleground to include Republican-held districts across Wisconsin.
In addition to Senate Districts 5, 17, 21, and 31 – all districts carried by Tony Evers, Kamala Harris, Tammy Baldwin, and Joe Biden – the SSDC will make additional investments in Districts 25 and 29, Trump-won districts that have a history of supporting Democrats in off-year elections.
“Last cycle Senate Democrats defied the odds and swept every single battleground district at a time when President Trump carried the State,” said SSDC Communications Director Will Karcz. “Now, with the wind at our backs, we’re out to not just win a razor-thin majority, but a durable one that will deliver for Wisconsinites. Republicans in the State Senate are on the run; they have bad maps, bad candidates, and a bad record to run on, and no amount of billionaire money can wallpaper over their failures.”
