MADISON, Wis. — In response to the execution of Alex Pretti, Derrick Van Orden is spreading lies about the victim and completely contradicting what has been recorded in numerous videos. Van Orden claimed that Pretti, who was a VA ICU nurse, went to “confront federal law enforcement authorities with a loaded weapon” and that he got into a “shoving match.
Rep. Tony Wied similarly smeared Pretti for being executed while Rep. Tom Tiffany claimed to have not seen the video.
