MADISON, Wis. — Tom Tiffany has a damning record on the most extreme immigration positions including repeatedly calling for funding cuts for municipalities that don’t comply with ICE, restricting visas to make it easier to deport unaccompanied children and celebrating deportations to CECOT, a facility widely reported to be in violation of human rights. Tom Tiffany’s campaign even defended ICE when they used a five-year-old child as bait in Minnesota.
“It’s clear that Tom Tiffany puts Donald Trump’s chaos campaign ahead of Wisconsinites,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Emily Stuckey. “Tiffany voted to cut a trillion dollars in health care funding in the Big Ugly Bill—the same bill that funded an $89 billion budget for ICE. This isn’t about common-sense immigration, this is about unleashing chaos on Wisconsin.”
