MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsinites are holding MAGA extremist Congressman Tom Tiffany accountable for his extreme and expensive record. Tiffany voted for the “Big Ugly Bill” that put healthcare nearly out of reach for employees of small businesses, received thousands of dollars in donations from corporations associated with data centers while driving up utility bills and has denied the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Earlier this year, he voted for a version of Trump’s “One Big, Beautiful Bill” that sought to ban states from enforcing laws regulating artificial intelligence for the next decade […] Tiffany gleefully cast a deciding vote — on a 215-214 split in the House — for the tech industry’s agenda.

It is certainly convenient that, since 2010, Tiffany has received tens of thousands of dollars in campaign funds from the energy and utility industries, including Chevron, WEC Energy Group, Xcel and Alliant, who stand to benefit significantly from data centers. Meanwhile, Wisconsin households are paying more on utility bills than they ever have before.”

“I run an early childhood program, and I give my employees a monthly stipend to help them afford healthcare. Many rely on the marketplace to get coverage, and about half of my staff live outside the county where we operate, so that coverage is often the only way they can access care where they live. Since this bill passed, I’ve had staff come to me trying to decide whether they could still afford their coverage, and whether they could still afford their medications.

So I doubled the stipend. That decision alone has raised my costs by almost $40,000 a year, roughly 4% of our tuition income, just to keep my staff covered and healthy.

I need my teachers to be healthy. I need them to be able to take their medications, free from the stress of wondering if they can afford to see a doctor, so they can show up ready to teach and care for our youngest children. Early childhood teachers deserve real access to healthcare and medication, not a Congress that makes it harder to afford both.

Tom Tiffany voted for this bill. We can’t trust him with our healthcare.”

He pushed for a national abortion ban beginning at conception, with no exceptions for victims of rape or incest.”

Both Trump and Tiffany are infamous for their denial of the 2020 presidential election, and both had a hand in attempting to overturn the results of that election. Their unpatriotic actions on that election will forever blacken their names. They are Republican twins.”
