MADISON, Wis. — It’s been three days since Dan O’Donnell, the host of the radio show that GOP candidate for governor Tom Tiffany chose to announce his campaign, went off the air after calling for the assassination of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. And while numerous Wisconsin media personalities have said an apology “is truly not enough” from O’Donnell and called for him to give up his job, Tom Tiffany STILL has not condemned the post.
“Tom Tiffany clearly sees nothing wrong with Dan O’Donnell’s post because he is an out-of-touch extremist unfit to be governor of Wisconsin,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Emily Stuckey. “Tiffany chooses to stand with O’Donnell after he directly called for the assassination of a U.S. political leader. It’s disgusting, disqualifying, and more proof that Wisconsinites cannot trust him to keep our state safe.”
