MADISON, WI – The Marquette Law Poll has found property taxes to be a top issue for voters. Wisconsinites want their property taxes reduced. That’s why David Crowley’s record of increasing both sales and property taxes on Wisconsin families faces growing scrutiny, Wisconsinites are finding out just how much the Milwaukee County Executive loves raising taxes on his own people.
A report by Townhall found a 2023 photo of Crowley that he posted celebrating one of his sales tax votes with a cake:

This guy loves tax hikes so much, that he literally celebrates them after he signs them into law. It stands to reason he’d do the same if he were elected Governor.
Crowley’s record includes an 80% sales-tax increase and repeated property-tax hikes. He’s raised the tax burden on working Milwaukee County families almost every year that he’s held office.

But it gets worse. Crowley is IN FAVOR of a 400-year property-tax increase. Crowley has said he’s voting NO on the common-sense constitutional amendment this November to stop this increase.

The message is clear: David Crowley is committed to making life more expensive for you. He wants to tax you out of your home.
While Tom Tiffany is committed to cutting taxes on Wisconsinites, Crowley’s approach is to tax them over and over again, spend their money, and let them eat cake.
