MADISON, WI – Democrat David Crowley has tried to present himself as a moderate on the campaign trail, but as Wisconsinites learn more about his radical record, they’re seeing that label for what it is: a lie.

A new report by Townhall highlights all of the false claims Crowley makes in his newest television ad. This includes his claim to have cut property taxes in Milwaukee County; the truth is that his “budget includes the largest property tax increase in at least two decades and a larger-than-normal withdrawal from reserves.” Crowley also claimed that he “balanced the budget” in Milwaukee County, but in reality, they’re projected “to run a $51 MILLION budget deficit next year.”

But it gets worse for Crowley, a Fox News report reveals that he went all-in on DEI and the Green New Deal agenda in Milwaukee County. He “embraced racial-equity budgeting,” expanded the county’s equity bureaucracy, and adopted climate plans that threaten even higher costs on Wisconsinites. Crowley previously had trouble describing any areas of disagreement he had with his democratic socialist primary opponent Francesca Hong. This news further shows how far to the left Crowley is.

All of this comes as Crowley tries to hide his consistent support for protecting tax breaks for data center companies. While Crowley now claims he wants to protect Wisconsin families from mega-corporations pushing data centers, he’s actually funded by them. This fact has even drawn criticism from members of his own party.

Crowley’s strategy appears to be trying to spin as many fictions as possible to Wisconsin voters to hide his fringe record. Sadly for him, he can’t hide from the facts, no matter how many lies he tells.
