MADISON, Wis. – While David Crowley hits the fundraising circuit with Kamala Harris and Hollywood liberals in California, he has Democratic Socialist Francesca Hong touring Wisconsin on his behalf. Hong told WISN that she’s “launching her own statewide tour” to campaign for Crowley and other Wisconsin Democrats up and down the ballot.
While Wisconsin Democrats may not have picked her as their nominee, Crowley confirmed that there are not many differences between his politics and hers – except on data centers, which he supports. Crowley seems not only completely unbothered by the fact that she called to abolish police and prisons, but even comfortable having him represent her as a surrogate on the trail.
Crowley seems so comfortable with Hong representing him on the trail that he appears to be having her do more events than he is. His campaign doesn’t even list its “Meet David” opportunities on its website anymore:

The reality is that Crowley in the Governor’s mansion would pose the same dangers to Wisconsin families: less safe streets, more taxes, and dangerous policies that would destroy Wisconsin as we know it.
